Leafpaw looked up from drinking water to see Blazepaw thrashing around. " What's going on?" She stood up, bristling.

ooc: Can I join?

Leafpaw looked around for her old denmate, she had just become an apprentice a couple of nights before, and she missed Splashkit the most. Leafpaw hadn't had any littermates to play with so she played with Splashkit. She walked around until she smelled her, "Splashkit!" She mewed excitedly.

Leafpaw sat down on a fallen tree near the river, hunting was slow and stressful, she needed a little break. She heard rustling and turned to face it, she stood muzzle to muzzle with another cat.

"Ya," Leafpaw sighed, hunching her shoulders forward. "This leaf-bare is hard." She lifted her paws out of the snow and shook them out.

Leafpaw watched Flamblaze's hunting skills, twitching her tail. "What are you doing?" She asked feeling impatient that her own mentor wasn't there to train her.

Splashkit and Leafpaw restled on the grass, not caring that they were different ranks. They play-fighted until an elder stopped them, saying that they were in his way, they appoligised before looking at eachother, amused. "I can't wait until you're an apprentice,too, we could train together!" Leafpaw squelled.

"It's coming too slow." Leafpaw muttered grumpily. She hated being called little one, she was 9 moons old for Starclan's sake! She huffed before scenting mouse, she crouched down low signaling that she smelled something. She krept slowly until the prey was only a couple muse-lengths away. She lept into the air before breaking the mouses neck. I popped up with the limp body in my jaws, proud of myself.

Leafpaw laughed at Splashkit's laugh outbreak, she looked so discombombulated on her back on the floor. Amusement shone in Leafpaw's green eyes, she saw a new comer walk in, and nodded at Splashkit. "Let's figure this new guy out." She whispered before sneaking forward to spy on the newcomer.

Leafpaw walked to the thunderclan camp to set her prey down, she looked around seeing so many cats with their mates, she couldn't help feeling envious, she wanted some cat to have a crush on in the clan.

"My name's Leafpaw and this is Splashkit!" Leafpaw meowed eagerly.

"What are you doing?" Leafpaw repeated the question to flameblaze

Leafpaw rolled her eyes at her former den-mate, she was acting like a kit. Leafpaw flicked Splashkit's ear with her tail in a playful manner.

"I already am an aprentice." Leafpaw boasted, "And am soon to be 9 moons old. Can you say that?" She dangled these facts over her younger friends head. She bumped Splashkit playfully.

"Ya! We should, I'll talk to my mentor and the leader(whoever they may be) about it later." Leafpaw mewed. "But I don't really know Lonekit, are you sure he's ok?" She whispered in her friend's ear.

"You may have the long legs, but I've got the muscles!" Leafpaw bragged crouching low and shooting into the air.

"Impressive," Leafpaw purred, he had made a valid point. "But the fight wouldn't last as long if you have your opponents running long before you start to sweat." She swatted the air with her strong arms.
